Amazing Kids is a growing early intervention provider delivering the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) for children with autism and other developmental delays. We are looking for someone to join our team to provide high quality intervention for our dedicated clients.
**Your role** 
- Administer Developmental, Skills based and Functional Assessments and interpret the results for clients 
- Design, develop and implement individualised skill acquisition programs for clients 
- Administer Function Based Assessment and develop Behaviour Support Plans for clients 
- Supervise and oversee client's skill acquisiton programs to ensure effectivness of the program. This involves reviewing and interrputing data and graph collected by the therapy team, parents and teachers and making clinical decisions based on this. 
- Train and engage in the development of therapists to ensure the effective delivery of the program (eg: overlapping until therapist competency within the program) 
- Maintaining professional relationships and building rapport across clients, families, staff, and other important stakeholders. 
- Providing 1:1 training sessions with therapists in which concepts and techniques learned by trainees during out-of-home training are modelled, resulting performance is evaluated, and effective feedback is given 
- Provide consultation to client's educational environments and allied health practitioners involved in the program. 
- Offer parents and educators strategies and support to train and support parents, teachers/educators, and therapists in the implementation of a behaviour support plans 
- Traveling to each client's setting (home, school, early learning environments, community) or visiting on tele-health to conduct protocol modification and parent training sessions 
- Conduct client intake 
- Work as part of a team, including certified ESDM therapists, and lead therapists 
- Deliver functional behaviour assessments

**Essential Criteria** 
- Certification by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board BCBA/BCaBA (or working towards) 
- Experience as a Certified ESDM therapist 
- A Master's degree in special education, science, psychology, or related field, with specialised knowledge of behavioural health and treatment philosophies and professional practices 
- Methodologies and a variety of data collection tools 
- Experience in diverse paediatric mental health and/or educational contexts predominantly with preschool and or/primary-school aged clients. 
- Demonstrated experience in working with children with developmental delays and a variety of challenging behaviours 
- Demonstrated experience in working with children with developmental delays and a variety of challenging behaviours within preschool and primary education environments 
- Excellent self-motivation and autonomous working skills with good accountability 
- Ability to liaise effectively with other professionals such as preschool/school staff, paediatricians, speech pathologists and occupational therapists in order to provide a cohesive program for each child. 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including high quality report writing skills and strong rapport building skills. 
- Current working with children's check 
- Police Check
**Desirable Criteria** 
- Comprehensive understanding of NDIS Framework. 
- Desire to be involved in facilitating growth of a small business with potential for career development 
- Driver's license and own car 
- Current first aid certificate
