Care Cover Pty Ltd is an Australian family owned company that has been providing furniture care products and accident warranty programs to some of the country's largest furniture retailers since 2011.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Claims Assessor / Office Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, clear processes, and being part of a small, supportive office environment.

You will be responsible for assessing customer claims under our furniture care and accident warranty programs, while also providing some general office and administrative support.

Candidates must have a minimum of 6+ months experience in claims assessment or insurance.

This role is office-based and requires someone who is organised, confident communicating with customers and service providers, and comfortable following established procedures.

This part-time position requires 20-25 hours per week.

The role typically operates Tuesday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

Claims Assessment

* Review and assess customer claims in line with policy terms and guidelines
* Evaluate photos, documentation, and claim details
* Approve, decline, or request further information on claims
* Allocate approved jobs to service technicians
* Communicate claim outcomes clearly and professionally with customers and retailers
* Maintain accurate records within our claims management systems

Office & Administration Support

* Handle inbound emails and phone enquiries
* General office administration and support tasks as required

About You

You will ideally have:

* Experience in claims processing, administration, insurance, warranties, or customer service
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow set processes
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence dealing with customers
* Good computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
* A reliable, consistent work ethic
* Valid work visa or Australian residency required
* Minimum Year 12 or equivalent qualification required
