The Role - Software Engineer – Full Stack
We're hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong front-end focus and AWS experience to build and operate high-quality systems at scale. While you're comfortable working across the stack, your strength lies in crafting intuitive, high-performing user interfaces and seamless user experiences. You care deeply about clean, maintainable code, thoughtful UI/UX and delivering production-ready solutions backed by scalable cloud infrastructure. You lead complex problem-solving, make sound technical decisions in fast-moving environments, and collaborate closely across engineering, product and cloud teams. Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders comes naturally to you. At Shine, we're driven by excellence. You MUST be an Australian Citizen with minimum Baseline security clearance.
Required Skills & Experience:
React – Experience in front-end development to enable effective full-stack collaboration.
AWS – Hands-on experience building, deploying, and operating production-grade backend systems with a strong architectural mindset.
Consulting & Communication – Builds trust with clients and partners, communicates technical decisions clearly and translates complexity into business understanding while navigating ambiguity and change.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Python – Experience building and maintaining backend systems using Python.
SQL – Strong understanding of relational databases, data modelling and performance tuning.
