DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a highly regarded Workplace and Employment Law team in Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload of employment, industrial relations and workers' compensation matters
* Provide practical and commercially focused legal advice to clients
* Draft correspondence, legal documents, submissions and employment‐related agreements
* Conduct legal research and analyse complex legislative and regulatory issues
* Represent and advocate for clients in employment‐related matters where required
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Assist with mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and support staff
* Contribute to business development, networking and professional profile‐building activities
* Ensure effective file management, risk management and compliance practices
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Minimum 3 years' post‐admission experience in Employment Law, Industrial Relations and/or Workers' Compensation
* Strong technical legal knowledge and problem‐solving capabilities
* Excellent drafting, research and communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* A proactive and solutions‐focused approach to legal practice
* Strong relationship‐building and stakeholder management skills
* Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members will be highly regarded
