Bourke Aboriginal Corporation Health Service (BACHS) is a highly respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, delivering culturally safe, high-quality primary health care and community services in remote NSW.
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to taass varnistic leadership. This is a rare opportunity to provide strategic leadership within a values-driven organisation that is recognised for strong governance, innovation and community trust.
About the role
Reporting to the Board of Directors and working closely with a capable and committed Executive Team, the CEO is responsible for the overall strategic, operational and cultural leadership of the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering the organisation’s strategic vision and priorities
* Leading and supporting high‑performing, multidisciplinary teams
* Strengthening partnerships with community, government and stakeholders
* Ensuring strong financial performance, risk management and compliance
* Championing culturally safe, community‑led models of care

About you
You are a values‑led, relational leader with:
* Proven senior executive leadership experience in health, community or complex organisations
* Strong strategic, financial and governance capability
* Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal health and community‑controlled organisations
* The ability to lead diverse teams and build trusted stakeholder relationships
* A leadership style grounded in respect, integrity and cultural safety
