About the client
Our client provides comprehensive assessment, treatment and assertive outreach support for individuals with moderate to severe mental health needs. They are part of a multidisciplinary care team, contributing to a holistic, client‐centred model of care, integrating with regional health teams to ensure timely and appropriate care, including inpatient support when necessary.
Role Overview
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, supporting clients between the ages of 12 and 25 with mild, moderate and/or severe mental health needs to ensure they are well supported in the community through a comprehensive model of primary health and mental health care, ensuring clients receive the right care at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct culturally sensitive and thorough assessments of clients.
* Provide treatment and intensive case management support.
* Engage in assertive outreach to address emerging mental health needs.
* Apply advanced specialist knowledge and clinical expertise in mental health assessments and decision making.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Psychologist with AHPRA registration, OR
* Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration, OR
* Bachelor of Social Work with AASW registration
* Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check.
* Current C‐Class Driver's Licence.
* Demonstrated high‐level verbal and written communication skills.
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
