We currently have a full-time vacancy available for an enrolled or registered nurse primarily based at our new Midland clinic with travel to other clinics as needed. In addition to nursing duties, we need someone who enjoys variety and wants to contribute to growing our Midland service. This means the nurse would assist with admin duties including working on reception as needed for cover gaining valuable exposure across all service lines.
A ‘Day or Week in the Life’ of a RediMed nurse may include:
* Assisting in the daily running of Plastics, Orthopaedic and General Practitioner Clinics
* Assisting Surgeons with minor procedures in our onsite theatres
* Running Dressing Clinics
* Assisting with Skin Checks
* Running Immunisation Programs - both onsite and clinic based
* Assisting with Pre-Employment Medicals
* Stock Monitoring and Ordering
* Triaging Emergency Phone Calls and Walk-in Cases
* Sterilising Equipment
* Administration including meeting and greeting customers, answering calls and answering emails.
What is Required:
* Current and valid Nursing Registration with AHPRA
* Current Professional Indemnity insurance
* Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
* Current Australian Drivers License
* Current Working with Children’s Check
* Solid background and capabilities in wound care and knowledge
* A commitment to continuous professional development
* Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
* Current Vaccination/Immunisation Certificate (desirable)
* Current Phlebotomy Certificate (desirable)
