About the Role
Working with a high‑performing team of engineers, designers, and drafters with a passion for digital delivery, you will support the team in delivering projects across a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects. Your role will focus on the core civil engineering discipline, associated with roadworks, stormwater drainage & flooding, earthworks, pavements, water and sewerage infrastructure for key clients across Defence, Transport, Water Resources, Urban Development, Health, Mining and Resource industries.
How You'll Make a Difference
* Understanding of urban development principles, particularly related to site planning and servicing
* Ability to work across multiple, interrelated disciplines such as infrastructure layout, earthworks design, pavements, and stormwater drainage
* Familiarity with site grading and level design
* Basic knowledge of sewer and water reticulation
* Exposure to or willingness to learn civil design software (e.g. Civil 3D, 12d, AutoCAD)
* Understanding of construction documentation and civil deliverables (plans, specifications, schedules)
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to apply engineering judgement to real‑world design constraints
* Comfortable collaborating with other disciplines (structural, architectural, geotechnical)
* Effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and design reporting
As you progress through our recruitment process, you'll have the opportunity to select your preferred discipline and location, along with second and third choices. To be considered for this role, please choose either "Civil – Water" or "Civil – Infrastructure (Hwys)" as your first preferred discipline.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
* Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
* Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2026. We are open to mid‑year finishers who are able to commence by July 2026.
