An exciting opportunity exists for a positive & passionate FMCG Representative to join our team at Our United Food Co Aust. in the Gold Coast & Northern Rivers Region. This exciting Territory of QLD had been in exceptional growth & we look forward to welcoming the right person to continue on the hard work to build on the already solid foundation & continue to build this Territory over the coming years. The purpose of this role is to effectively manage, promote and sell our product range within the independent retail trade in order to maximize brand exposure & sales volumes.
* Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the continued management of developing & increasing business opportunities within the Independent Supermarket Trade and working with an exciting portfolio of Brands covering all aspects of a supermarket shop floor.
In addition, you will be required to:
* Increase sales opportunities through new and existing customers.
* Deal with customer orders, enquiries and following up on any customer related queries.
* Promote exceptional sales through the endorsement of new and existing products and services.
* Use your visual merchandising skills to display material and activate in store promotions & theatre.
* Knowledge, skills and attributes:
You will possess the following skills:
* Sales experience background within Grocery FMCG with strong selling experience with direct lines. Preferred but NOT ESSENTIAL.
* Great communication and organizational skills.
* Sales skills with the ability to up-sell.
* Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
* A genuine passion for achieving goals and developing the business through your negotiation, selling and merchandising skills.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with the ability to operate iPad & mobile devices.
* Analytical and problem solving ability.
* Capable of working in a team environment with a Team First thought process.
* Show initiative & creative thinking.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Understanding direct sales to all Independent Supermarkets
