Job Description
Position Overview: As a Support Worker/Domestic Assistant on our team, you will play a vital role in providing personalizsd care and assistance to individuals within our community. Your responsibilities will include offering support as needed by the client, assisting with daily activities, and promoting independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalised support to individuals in accordance with their individual needs. Assist with daily tasks such as companionship, meal preparation, transport and community access Foster a supportive and empowering environment that promotes independence and encourages individuals to reach their full potential.
Establish positive relationships with individuals, families, and caregivers to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Monitor and document individual progress, behaviours, and any changes in their well-being. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar support worker role is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to support others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts. No week nights or weekends! Woo hoo!
