Chisholm’s culture of Belonging & Inclusion strives to promote a self-regulating culture that enhances the experiences of our employees, students, and communities.About The RoleAs the OHS Senior Business Partner – Safety Management Systems, your key responsibilities include:The development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, and initiatives to continuously improve the health, safety, and psychological outcomes for all Chisholm employees and students.Providing expert health and safety advice and support to People Leaders, including incident investigations, iCam investigations, root cause analysis, and support the development of corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences. Monitoring of controls for their effectiveness.Conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify workplace hazards, evaluate potential risks, and recommend preventive measures to minimize or eliminate risks to employee health and safety, including Executive Officer responsibilities or the Chisholm Health and Safety Committee.Actively managing and supporting Chisholm assurance programs, ensuring timely responses, expert advice, and reporting.About YouYou are a highly motivated individual with proven competency in the provision of expert OHS management, quality management systems, or a related field in a complex, multi-risk environment.Qualifications Required For The RoleBachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field, or subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of knowledge, training, and experience.Certified Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner (or higher) with the Australian Institute of Health & Safety or willingness to obtain certification (https://www.aihs.org.au/certification).Lead Auditor Occupational Health and Safety (ISO45001/ AS4801) or similar or willingness to undertake the required training.About UsChisholm is one of the largest vocational training providers in the state, supporting over 41,000 students and employing more than 1,400 staff across Melbourne’s southeast and online.
