**Heavy Vehicle Technician Position Overview**

As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and maintenance on trucks and buses, adhering to industry standards. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all vehicles are serviced and maintained to the highest level, promoting efficiency and safety.
Servicing and Maintenance Responsibilities:
* Steering and suspension repairs
* Electrical faults diagnosis and repair
* Braking systems diagnosis and repair
* Component overhauls
* Driveline repairs
* Preventative maintenance services and repairs
* Off-site and breakdown repairs
About the Role:
The successful candidate will join a supportive and stable work environment with a strong focus on teamwork and individual growth. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience working on a wide range of vehicles, including Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Mack, and UD Trucks.
Key Requirements:
* A Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification (Fitter qualifications are not accepted)
* Experience working with Volvo, Mack, UD, or other European truck or bus brands
* Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
* A proactive attitude with a drive to work efficiently
* A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindset
* Appropriate Australian working rights for a permanent full-time role
