About the Role:
PLC Sydney is looking for professional and experienced Bus Drivers to join our team on a casual basis. This key role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students during term time, primarily for morning and afternoon routes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating school buses safely and professionally, strictly following all road rules and regulations.
* Transporting students to and from school, as well as on excursions and overnight trips.
* Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the buses.
* Adhering to the College's safety protocols and procedures.
Skills and Requirements:
* A minimum of a Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence is required, with a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence being preferred.
* A proven record of safe driving.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Prior experience in school bus driving is desirable but not essential.
* Bus Driver Authority required.
The successful applicant must provide a Working With Children Clearance Number and date of birth.
