We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dedicated team on a permanent part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who wishes to have an excellent work home life balance with the opportunity to work from home.
The position involves engagements in taxation, financial accounting and preparation, business and instalment activity statement preparation, company, trusts, not-for-profit accounting and taxation, real estate trust account auditing along with a wide variety of client bookkeeping assistance.
You will be working directly under Senior Management as part of our small team environment and have a high level of independence in the completion and organisation of your work.

The Role
* Month end financial reporting
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
* Calculating accruals/prepayments (expenses and income) and processing journal entries
* Cashflow reporting
* ATO reporting - BAS & Instalment Activity Statements
* Assistance with preparation of documentation for Annual Audit
* Ad hoc reconciliations and finance tasks as required
* Part of a friendly, high performing team
Skills and Experience
Minimum 4 years' accounting experience.
Proficient in Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Excel and Word.
Knowledge or have used Handisoft products would be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently to achieve targets.
