Renewable Energy Asset Manager
We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Asset Manager to join our team in Canberra, AU. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of renewable energy sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the asset performance of a portfolio of renewable energy sites.
* Facilitate clear and timely communication between on-site staff and the office team.
* Maximize output and minimize operational risks across renewable energy projects.
* Conduct high-level analysis of SCADA system data.
* Prepare, manage, and adhere to operational plans.
* Review and improve maintenance strategies in collaboration with service providers.
* Track and resolve operational issues as reported by on-site staff or identified independently.
* Interpret and enforce terms of contracts with operations and maintenance providers.
* Oversee and manage reporting obligations to authorities.
* Engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external consultants.
Key Measurables
* Workplace Health, Safety & Environment (WHS&E): Zero lost-time incidents; full compliance with safety, environmental, and biodiversity management requirements.
* Stakeholder and Contractual Performance: Accurate, timely reporting and full adherence to service contracts and regulatory obligations.
* Financial Management: Meeting OPEX targets and achieving value through market competition and innovation.
* Energy and Operational Performance: Meeting or exceeding asset availability targets; minimizing unplanned downtime.
* Maintenance & Performance Improvements: Timely and effective execution of scheduled maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and performance improvements.
Requirements
* Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (preferred).
* Experience in construction, engineering, or renewable energy sectors (highly regarded).
* Demonstrated capability in supervising and coordinating O&M activities in renewable energy or similar industries.
* Strong contract management experience.
* Current driver's license.
* Valid White Card.
* Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Willingness to travel to site as needed.
