The Opportunity We are seeking a talented individual to join the E-7A Wedgetail Air Vehicle engineering Work Management Team (WMT). This position holder will be responsible to the WMT lead for co-ordinating the priority, task planning and scheduling for the engineering teams, maintaining data currency in the work management tool (JIRA), running work management meetings and engaging with key Wedgetail Enterprise stakeholders from the wider program and customer.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the integration, planning, scheduling and allocation of the sustainment engineering team tasks
- Research and develop improvements to the work management system to manage technical work more effectively
- Technical analysis to support task prioritisation, workload risk characterisation and resource optimization
- Assignment of work packages to execution teams
- Analyse data to produce work management metrics and reports
- Engage a broad range of stakeholders as focal point for tasking and routine customer queries.
Experience/Qualifications
- Work experience in a relevant project, engineering, maintenance or logistics role Desirable.
- Work experience providing support in an Australian Defence Force (ADF) military aircraft sustainment environment desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and schedule complex issues or activities.
- Familiarity with project engineering, configuration management, logistics and maintenance.
- Ability to evaluate and resolve competing priorities and remove execution barriers.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to perform in fast paced work environment with regularly emerging priorities.
