Civmec are looking for experienced Painter Blasters to work across our OPV and Fabrication Workshops, in the largest fabrication facility of its kind at our Henderson location. This will be working on a variety of complex and high-profile projects, you will gain hands on experience and work within a world class team.

The Role
* Mobilise and demobilising blasting hoppers/spray pumps and encapsulations
* Abrasive blast, ranging from a whip class SA 3 on ferrous and nonferrous substrates using both garnet and steel abrasives
* Hand/Mechanical preparation of repair areas using orbital sanders and MBX's
* Brush/Roll stripe coats as required.
* Using mainly airless spray, apply up to 5 coats systems required DFT's/specifications
* Application of; Inorganic zinc's, Epoxy zinc's, High build epoxies, Antifouls and Acrylic polyurethanes.
* Remediate areas marked up by quality inspectors to meet the requirements of clients' specification.
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
* 3 - 5 years' Experience within the Industry (Preferred)
* Airless and conventional spray and blasting experience
* High Risk Work Licence - LF & EWP (Preferred)
* Working at Heights (Preferred)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
* Experience working with Marine Vessels (Desirable)
