We are currently looking for a hard working and reliable Labourer to join our team working at our Griffith branch.
About the Role
This role will see you providing general labour support across irrigation installation and maintenance activities. You\'ll work closely with experienced installers, assisting with a variety of tasks while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the irrigation installation team with day-to-day labour tasks
* Maintain tools, plant, and equipment in line with company requirements
* Support assembly and fabrication tasks including pumps, valves, controllers, and welding work
* Perform general cleaning and upkeep of site, equipment, vehicles, and yard
* Operate machinery such as trenchers, excavators, and loaders (where competent)
* Follow all WHS requirements and company procedures
* Assist with stock handling, loading/unloading, and general duties as required
* Complete basic paperwork and report any issues or customer concerns
About You
We\'re looking for a reliable and motivated team player who enjoys hands-on work and is keen to learn. You\'ll take pride in doing the job right, follow instructions well, and contribute positively to a safe and productive work environment.
You will also need to demonstrate
* Current driver\'s licence (manual preferred)
* High Risk Work Licence (LF) or willingness to obtain
* Experience operating plant and equipment (desirable)
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to workplace safety
