Job Description
We are looking for a Product Specialist in the Joint Reconstruction Team specializing in Hip & Knee joint replacement solutions, including VELYSTM robotic and digital technology ecosystem. The role is based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities
* Develop effective relationships and consult with Orthopaedic Surgeons, promoting and driving the sale of our products, and achieving revenue targets across the portfolio.
* Identify customer needs to deliver tailored solutions, generate leads and capitalize on market opportunities, and present product information to support customers.
* Provide clinical support during surgical cases, deliver education and in‐service training to Surgeons, Registrars, and theatre staff, and support new product launches.
* Maintain market and competitor analysis, provide regular feedback, and collaborate within a team environment to deliver premier service and support to customers and patients.
About You
Degree‐qualified with proven skills in hospital sales and territory management, preferably in Orthopaedics. Strong business acumen, understanding of the local orthopaedic market, and a proven track record of building professional and strategic relationships. Highly organized with a strong team orientation and ability to think strategically and constructively challenge customer needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

This position requires frequent travel to hospitals within the Brisbane Metro. All applicants must have the right to work in Australia, a reliable car, and a valid driver licence. Johnson & Johnson is planning to separate its Orthopaedics business into a standalone company, DePuy Synthes, anticipated to complete within 18 to 24 months. Following the separation, the employee would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, policies, and benefits.
