As a Senior Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in evaluating, directing, and monitoring first-line risk activities, ensuring Technology risks remain within the Westpac Group’s appetite. You will advise leaders on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to support project delivery and business-as-usual activities. You will also manage risk-related activities across your portfolio and work with our wider Technology and Business BCM teams to support the development and delivery of our risk priorities. What do I need? Ability to connect the dots between technology risks and broader business objectives, providing clear context and actionable insights that enable informed decision-making. Strong knowledge and experience of technology risk and compliance frameworks, and related risks such as cyber and data. Experience in providing technology risk leadership in both ‘run’ and ‘change’, within large organisations (ideally financial services). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating confident and clear engagement with colleagues at all levels. Ability to prepare and deliver reporting with actionable insights to senior leaders. Strong problem-solving, planning, and prioritisation. Why join us?
