What You'll Be Doing
You will complete a Certificate III in Scaffolding over 24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and Pipeline Scaffolding.Throughout your formal training and on-the-job experience, you will have the opportunity to:
Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the workshop, including the movement and storage of scaffolding materials and general housekeeping duties.
Participate in the safe and efficient movement of scaffolding materials, both in the workshop and on-site, adhering to manual handling guidelines.
Assist qualified scaffolders in all aspects of scaffolding work, including the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
Learn and utilise hand tools and battery-operated power tools effectively and safely.
What You'll Bring To The Table
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Basic literacy and computer skills.
Commitment to the full term of the traineeship and study requirements.
Current drivers licence (P1 or higher at commencement of the traineeship).
WHS Construction Induction (White Card), or willingness to obtain.
Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, including audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol screening and functional capacity assessment.
