Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a Sales & Technical Representative for our Wetherill Park branch to help us build our customer base and provide technical support across the Western Sydney region.
About the Role
This hybrid role will see you split your time between visiting new and existing customers, and being the internal technical branch support, demonstrating technical capabilities of our products, and supporting sales growth through relationship-building and proactive account management.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Development
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Grow customer base and increase product range sold.
• Represent key brands such as Sherwin-Williams and Valspar Refinish.
• Act as the primary contact for sales and technical enquiries.
• Identify new sales opportunities and contribute to product launches and marketing efforts.
Technical Support & Training
• Demonstrate technical advantages of products to customers and internal teams.
• Provide technical support internally in the branch.
• Provide product and colour matching training (including software use).
• Install and troubleshoot paint systems and equipment.
• Support customers with spray booth layout and product use best practices.
• Assist customers with coatings-related issues and provide on-site solutions.
• Deliver hands-on training and mentoring to improve customer outcomes.
About You
• Trade qualified Spray Painter with minimum 8–10 years' experience.
• Prior experience in sales, technical support, or supervision in a workshop.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Technically confident, solutions-oriented, and team-focused.
• Comfortable using colour software and handling customer demonstrations.
• Self-motivated, organised, and pragmatic.
• Valid Australian driver's licence and full work rights.
• Willingness to travel regionally and attend product training in Sydney.
