Growth Hive is on the lookout for a Telemarketing & Sales expert to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring you connect the right business buyer with the right franchise/business opportunity. The responsibility is to follow our system and process while bringing your own flavour of sales skills. This is a full-time or part-time hybrid role for a Telemarketing & Sales Agent, based in Melbourne, VIC, with an option for partial work-from-home flexibility.
Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed qualification of incoming leads over the phone to assess suitability for business and franchise opportunities. (This is NOT COLD CALLING).
* Clearly communicate the skills required, purchase price details, and other essential information related to business acquisition.
* Organize virtual meetings to build trust and credibility.
* Conduct information sessions to take groups of franchise buyers through the model and explain why they should consider purchasing a franchise.
* Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism during all client/buyer interactions.
* Document and report on lead status and follow up as necessary.
* Achieve monthly and quarterly franchise lead qualification and sales targets.
* Good with CRM operations and day‐to‐day process follow‐ups.
Requirements
* Proven experience in B2B or B2C sales, business sales, franchise sales or brokerage.
* Strong ability to qualify, disqualify, and progress buyers through long sales cycles.
* Demonstrated success managing high‐value, consultative sales (not transactional selling).
* Confidence handling buyer objections around risk, finance, and timing.
* Ability to manage multiple deals concurrently without loss of discipline.
Data, Metrics & Process Discipline
* Comfortable working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate pipeline data.
* Ability to track and report on key metrics such as:
* Lead‐to‐appointment conversion.
* Application‐to‐signing rates.
* Process‐driven approach to follow‐ups, documentation, and reporting.
* Uses data to prioritize deals and improve conversion — not gut feel.
Communication & Relationship Management
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate clearly and build rapport with clients.
* Sales and persuasive skills, including experience in promoting products or services to achieve sales targets.
* Strong stakeholder management across buyers, sellers, lawyers, accountants, and consultants.
* Responsive, organized, and professional at all times.
* Ability to represent a brand with credibility and consistency.
* A positive attitude, a results‐driven approach, and a passion for helping clients achieve their goals.
