Job description: Bartons Wynnum is expanding its new vehicle operations and looking for a passionate, high‐performing New Vehicle Sales Manager to help lead this next chapter.
About the Role
As a New Vehicle Sales Manager at Bartons Wynnum, you will lead, motivate, and develop a new vehicle sales team, drive performance across an expanding brand portfolio, and support the launch and growth of new brands. You will work closely with dealership leadership, finance, stock control, administration, and manufacturer partners to deliver strong results and create a positive, accountable, customer‐focused sales culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the new vehicle sales team.
* Drive new vehicle sales performance across an expanding brand portfolio.
* Support the launch, establishment, and growth of new brands at Bartons Wynnum.
* Help build the systems, habits, and team culture needed for a growing dealership.
* Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, enquiry conversion, and market share.
* Champion a customer‐first culture that delivers excellence.
* Manage enquiry handling, follow‐up, appointments, and conversion.
* Monitor sales activity, stock opportunities, campaigns, and daily performance.
* Build a positive, professional, and accountable sales culture.
* Support finance, insurance, trade‐in, and accessory opportunities.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure profitable, seamless operations.
* Work closely with senior management and manufacturer partners.
* Maintain dealership standards, sales processes, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
* Proven automotive sales experience, ideally in sales management or a senior sales leadership role.
* Previous new vehicle sales experience.
* The confidence to lead through growth, change, and brand expansion.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* A proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team.
* A proactive, can‐do attitude and passion for teamwork.
* A results‐driven mindset with a customer‐first focus.
* The drive to create success for your team, your customers, and growing brands.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of dealership operations.
* Confidence working with sales targets, stock management, and manufacturer expectations.
* A professional, positive, and hands‐on leadership style.
* A current driver's licence.
* Experience with multiple new vehicle brands, dealership systems, brand launches, or high‐volume sales environments is highly regarded.
