Key Responsibilities
* Cost planning and estimating.
* Inputs into value engineering.
* Tender analysis and assisting in producing tender reports.
* Conduct cost checks, claims and variation assessments.
* Effectively producing post‑contract cost reports and final accounts.
* Client facing at all stages of projects.
* Directly support Senior Quantity Surveyor.
About you
* Have a recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
* Minimum of 4 years' postgraduate on‑site work or relevant experience.
* Sound construction knowledge as expected.
* Work rights in Australia, preferably Australian Citizen (ability to obtain security clearances).
* Completed or working towards CQS or MRICS status.
* Have strong communication skills and can consistently offer an excellent standard of customer care.
* Range of project and/or trade experience.
* Clear understanding of cost planning stages and principals.
* Ability to accurately quantify and cost construction elements.
* Commercial awareness and financial monitoring experience.
* Ability to work flexibly with strong organisational skills to manage workload.
* Innovative and adaptable to change with a professional and dedicated attitude.
