About the Role
At HelloRide, we're building a reliable and sustainable e‐bike network across Sydney. As Operations Associate – Warehouse & Repairs, you'll take ownership of all in‐warehouse activities, ensuring our fleet is maintained, repaired and turned around efficiently to the highest quality standards. This is a hands‐on leadership role focused on workshop operations, team performance and continuous improvement of repair, maintenance and facility management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance
* Lead, support, and develop a team of mechanics and warehouse associates, driving a strong team culture and accountability.
* Plan and manage daily workflows, including task allocation, repair prioritisation and shift scheduling.
* Support hiring, onboarding and training of new workshop team members.
Workshop & Fleet Operations
* Oversee all repair and maintenance activities within the warehouse, ensuring high‐quality and timely turnaround of e‐bikes.
* Maintain fleet quality standards by ensuring all bikes are safe, fully functional and ready for deployment.
* Monitor and improve key workshop metrics such as repair turnaround time, backlog and productivity.
* Take a hands‐on role in diagnosing, repairing and servicing e‐bikes when required.
* Identify recurring technical issues and implement preventative maintenance solutions.
Warehouse Facilities Management & Maintenance
* Facility Oversight: Manage the overall maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse facility, ensuring all utilities, structural elements and security systems are functional.
* Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment, promoting a strong safety‐first culture and ensuring compliance with WHS regulations.
* Inventory & Assets: Ensure tools, spare parts and inventory are well‐managed and available to support efficient operations.
* Vendor/Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with external contractors for facility repairs, waste management and specialised equipment servicing.
What We're Looking For
Experience
2–4 years in a warehouse, workshop, or repair environment with team leadership experience.
Technical Skills
Strong technical aptitude (e‐bikes or mechanical/electrical repairs highly desirable).
Operations
Proven ability to manage workflows, improve efficiency and oversee facility maintenance.
Tools
Experience with Google/Microsoft suites, data platforms (eg. tableau) and inventory/repair (eg. ERP, WMS) management systems.
