Providing specialist sexual assault and family violence programmes and services including 24‑hour crisis care, support, case management, therapeutic counselling, early intervention and professional education and training we continue to grow and develop our offerings.

About the Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre We are a client‑centred organisation supporting the community throughout Barwon, Wimmera and the South West regions offering a range of specialist support services to people impacted by sexual and family violence encompassing 24‑hour crisis care, specialist response services, early intervention programmes, Victims Assistance Programme, Community Legal Services, trauma recovery programmes, professional training and primary prevention initiatives.

About the Role

The Clinical Team Manager provides clinical leadership, governance and oversight for the Clinical Services Team within the SAFV Centre. This role is responsible for ensuring high‑quality trauma‑informed care delivery, leading a multidisciplinary team of AHPRA‑registered and allied health professionals, maintaining clinical standards and safety, and contributing to service development and improvement.

The Clinical Team Manager holds clinical accountability for complex case management, supervision of clinical staff, triage decision‑making and ensuring adherence to the Model of Care principles and pathways.

Key Selection Criteria

Your application must address the following :

Essential Qualifications and Registration

- Current unrestricted AHPRA / AASW registration in a relevant discipline:
- Clinical Psychology (endorsed)
- Psychiatry (specialist registration)
- Mental Health Nursing (with relevant postgraduate qualifications)
- Social Work (with clinical focus)
- Mental Health Practitioner
- Occupational Therapy (with mental health specialisation)

Postgraduate qualifications in trauma, mental health, family therapy, clinical practice or a related field.

Experience

- Minimum five years post‑registration clinical experience in complex trauma and / or mental health services
- Minimum two years experience in team leadership, clinical supervision or management roles
- Extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced family violence and / or sexual violence
- Demonstrated experience in complex trauma presentations and comorbid mental health conditions including post‑traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD, mood and anxiety disorders, substance use conditions, personality vulnerabilities and current or historical experiences of co‑occurring victim‑survivor and use‑of‑violence dynamics
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and coordinating care across multiple services

Other

- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and cultural equity in service delivery.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence.

Referees

Applicants must provide the name and current contact details of 2‑3 professional referees including the most recent or current supervisor.

Period of Appointment

This position is ongoing depending on funding.

There are 2 roles available.

Hours of Work

The position is full‑time subject to funding.

Salary and Conditions

Annual salary range as a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner classification Level 8 Pay Point 1‑3: $129,220 – $134,313 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.

Industrial Instrument: The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre Enterprise Agreement 2023.

Salary Packaging: Provided via Maxxia. PBI status with other expenses available to package above this cap. The SAFV Centre is a Public Benevolent Institution.

Superannuation: The employer will also make superannuation payments on your behalf in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992.

Probationary period: six months with a review conducted during this time.
