**About the role**:
It's an exciting time for us here at RMC because we're growing. Queensland is brimming with opportunity, and we need you to join us on this journey
As a **Quantity Surveyor** at RMC you will be responsible for the production and control of budgets for mid-tier projects. Working closely with our engineers, you will evaluate and critique tender submissions for risk, commercial compliance, and expenditure. Most importantly, you will lead and support a strong safety culture.

**About you**:
It all sounds great doesn't it, so what do we expect of you?
- Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Engineering, or proven commercial experience equivalent
- Experience in the Australian Rail Industry is highly desirable, however experience with large infrastructure, civil or transport projects is also advantageous
- Experience in commercial and contract management within heavy industry
- Be both willing and able to travel and work away from home on various projects throughout Australia when required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills adaptable to different audiences to ensure ability to influence various stakeholders
