The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Upholsterer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to learn a highly specialised trade while working with experienced upholsterers producing fine, handcrafted furniture.
What You Will Learn
Apprentices begin with foundational workshop duties, including:
* General housekeeping and factory safety
* Learning essential trade skills
* Assisting with basic upholstery tasks
As your skills grow, you will progress into more complex and specialised components of the craft, including:
* Frame preparation
* Webbing, springing, and padding
* Fabric cutting, sewing, and finishing
* Restoration of antique and high end furniture
Our goal is to train and develop you into a first class tradesperson who takes pride in producing quality, handcrafted work.
Who We're Looking For
Two candidate pathways are available:
* Has a genuine passion for upholstery or hands on craft work
* Is eager to learn a traditional trade
* Wants to build a long term career in furniture making and restoration

* Have previous industry or related experience
