About the Business UnitThe Barwon Precinct was formed to drive efficiencies in service delivery across the four prisons located in Lara. The Facility and Assets group managed $1.27billion in physical assets and provides strategic asset management planning services in addition.
The Barwon Precinct consists of HM Prison Barwon, Marngoneet Correctional Centre, Karreenga Annexe, Western Plains Correctional Centre, Statewide Services Centres and a State fire training centre.
About the RoleThe Control Systems Technician is a field‐based role and requires a Restricted Electrical Worker's licence (REL) holder. Responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting and optimising control systems critical to pumps, Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), HVAC‐R and associated facility management systems. The role ensures reliability, efficiency and safety of these systems.
A Victorian Restricted Electrical Worker's licence (REL) is the minimum mandatory requirement.
