Cementa Inc. is a regional arts organization based in Kandos, Central New South Wales (NSW), on Wiradjuri Country. With a strong focus on community-driven and artist-centered initiatives, Cementa fosters contemporary practices and highlights First Nations leadership. The organisation's two-year programming cycle includes residencies, exhibitions, and special projects that culminate in a flagship biennial festival connecting regional arts communities across Australia. The next Cementa Festival is scheduled for September 17–20, 2026, in Kandos, NSW.
The Role:
This is a short-term role (hybrid) for a Partnerships Manager to work closely with the Creative Director and General Manager to:
* Develop and implement a 2026 Philanthropic Strategy, including fundraising drives and a public crowdfunding campaign.
* Organise an in-person supporter event and nurture relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
* Achieve a $20k fundraising target
The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and identifying new collaboration opportunities. The individual will also support the organisation's vision by aligning partnership goals with the broader mission and programs of Cementa.
Ideal Candidate:
* Passionate about arts, community, and philanthropy.
* Experienced with strong skills in building and managing relationships with donors and partners.
* Experienced in fundraising.
* Strong communicator with a knack for creative engagement.
* Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Demonstrated experience in community engagement, arts, or non-profit sectors is advantageous.
* Understanding of regional arts and communities is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple priorities.
