We are recruiting a motivated, flexible, self-starter to join an exciting team of 'can-do' employees as the service department's Quality Controller.
About the role:
* Complete final quality control checks on vehicles to ensure trucks are repaired correctly the first time before being returned to the customer.
* To fulfil waiting customer requirements and road tests.
* To assist the Workshop Controller in the daily functioning of the Workshop.
* Assist with vehicle movement, detailing and driving duties.
* Assist with ad hoc yard duties supporting the team.
About you:
* A qualified technician or non-qualified person with sound technical experience with heavy vehicles.
* Able to meet and exceed quality standards as set by the brand
* Previous experience performing road tests and quality control functions (ideal, not essential)
* Good communicator with the ability to provide guidance and support to the technical team via demonstrated knowledge and capability
* Physically active, this hands-on role.
* Flexible to assist with secondary duties, yard work, driving and general maintenance.
* Must have a truck license to apply for this role.
* Forklift license is ideal.
