Your Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects, focusing on roads, rehabilitation, and related works. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, footpaths, and streetscapes.
* Prepare and review design documentation, tender specifications, and consultant deliverables.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and the community for smooth project execution.
* Provide technical advice and contribute to policy development and ongoing improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
You are a proactive, results-oriented engineering professional passionate about impactful infrastructure. You thrive in collaborative, community-focused environments and possess strong technical and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
* Experience in project management and contract administration, preferably within local government.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, including OH&S, environmental, and procurement regulations.
* Strong understanding of road construction methods, standards, and materials.
