Role Overview

Providing high-quality palliative care services to patients in the Toowoomba area is the main objective of this role. As a Palliative Care Physician, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and individualized care to patients with serious illnesses.

* Community care and inpatient consultation are key aspects of this role. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
* Inpatient management and telehealth clinics require strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
* Registrar support is available to assist with administrative tasks and ensure seamless coordination of care.


Roster and On-Call Duties

The roster is Monday-Friday, 0800-1630, with one week on-call every three weeks. This allows for a balance between work and personal life while ensuring adequate coverage for patients.
