Who you are:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Financial Accountant Our Financial Accountant is a hands-on accounting role supporting both operational and financial processes across Australia and New Zealand to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Your responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll and prepare payroll-related journal entries.
Accountable for month end close process including preparation of closing journals.
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
Perform financial analysis of monthly results and provide commentary.
Assist with budget and forecasting process.
Assist with payment and preparation of taxation compliance.
Assist external auditor with end of year audit requirements.
Assist finance manager with finance efficiency projects and business partnership projects with other departments.
To be successful you will require:
CPA/CA qualifications or studying towards.
A minimum of 3 years Financial Accounting experience.
Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance.
Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Organised and strong commitment to complete activities within deadlines.
