Annual Salary: $77,000 – $90,000 AUD (depending on experience and qualifications)
Golden Oyster Farm is a premium oyster farm located in the pristine waters of Mooney Mooney, New South Wales. We specialise in cultivating high-quality Sydney Rock Oysters and Pacific Oysters, using sustainable farming techniques to supply top grade oysters to markets, restaurants, and distributors across Australia.
As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Oyster Farmer to join our team and help lead the future of oyster farming.

Oyster Farmer (1 Position)
Key Responsibilities:
-Planning and organising oyster farming activities, from hatchery to harvest
-Checking water quality and farm conditions to keep stock healthy
-Moving oysters between baskets, longlines, and other farming systems as they grow
-Helping with harvesting, grading, processing, and packaging to meet customer standards
-Looking after farm equipment, making sure everything is safe and in good working order
-Keeping basic records of stock, production, and farm activities
-Assisting with sales logistics and stock orders when needed
-Supporting and training farm staff, and working together to get the job done safely and efficiently
Applicant Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree or higher in Aquaculture, Marine Science, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or related field
-Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in aquaculture or fisheries industry
-Strong understanding of aquaculture operations, biosecurity, and environmental management
-Ability to work in outdoor and marine environments
-Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
-Commitment to sustainability and safe work practices
