About the Role
This is a pivotal role within the supply chain, ensuring that materials for steel pipe manufacturing are managed with precision. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of inventory—from unloading heavy raw materials to managing finished stock—all while upholding a rigorous safety‐first culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Forklift Operations: Protected operation of heavy‐capacity forklifts (16T) for loading/unloading vehicles and moving large‐scale steel products.
* Inventory Control: Conducting accurate stock takes, performing data entry, and monitoring stock levels.
* Warehousing: Efficiently receiving, dispatching, and kitting materials specifically for the production line.
* IT Literacy: Utilizing warehouse management software to track orders and inventory movements.
* Health & Safety: Strict adherence to site safety protocols and maintaining a clean, hazard‐free workspace.

* Hours: 06:00 – 14:30 (Monday to Friday).

What You Bring
* Licences: A current Forklift (LF) licence is essential (High‐capacity/16T experience is highly regarded).
* Experience: A proven background in stores, warehousing, and inventory/stock control.
* Computer Skills: Confidence using computers for data entry and digital stock management systems.
* Physical Fitness: Capability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment and manage physical tasks.
* Compliance: Ability to pass a Pre‐Employment Medical (PEM) and a Drug & Alcohol Screen (DAS).
