About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused UAV Pilot to support aerial survey operations across Tasmania. The role involves delivering high-quality unmanned aircraft missions in compliance with regulatory requirements, emphasizing operational excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Undertaking UAV operations in strict compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures to support statewide programs;
* Delivering additional unmanned systems work aligned with industry best practices and statutory requirements to ensure successful client outcomes;
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, partners, and stakeholders to define scope, budgets, timelines, and deliverables;
* Implementing innovative and sustainable UAV inspection methodologies to improve safety, efficiency, and survey results;
* Recording and reporting any deviations from capture targets, including cause and implemented mitigation;
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL);
* Demonstrated UAV flying experience in operational environments;
* Solid understanding of CASA aviation regulations, safety management systems, and operational compliance;
* Experience in aerial survey programs, ideally within the energy, infrastructure, or environmental sector;
