The Role
Ocean Reef SHS is seeking an innovative and highly motivated professional to lead our small Information Technology (IT) team as Network Administrator.
As a Network Administrator, you will oversee the school's network infrastructure, including user access, security, and compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities may include risk management, data security, system backups, and disaster recovery planning.
Working closely with the Network Support Officer and the Department's IT Support, the Network Administrator will provide technical leadership, resolve hardware and software issues, and drive continuous system improvement. This includes implementing and optimising IT solutions, configuring and customising software, maintaining relationships with external providers and ensuring reliable network performance.
Experience with WA Department of Education systems (SIS, Connect, Compass), Cisco-based networking technologies, and Microsoft 365 (including OneNote and Teams) will be highly regarded.
