Support Worker Job Description
We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker to join our team in Kings Park.
Job Summary
This role involves providing support and assistance to individuals with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look different, but your work will be centered around the following:
* Providing support in everyday activities around the home
* Providing support with hygiene and personal care
* Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
* Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
* Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
* NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
* Australian Drivers License & comprehensive car insurance
