We are a large, fully accredited Family Practice on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Services provided include General Practitioners, Psychologist, Dietitian, Diabetes Educator and visiting Specialists.
Qualifications & experience
* We are looking for full time and part time team members. This position would suit someone with prior medical reception experience and knowledge of Best Practice software but is not a requirement to apply.
Tasks & responsibilities
As the first point of contact to our Practice you will be required to provide exceptional customer service to visitors entering our facility and possess friendly, professional communication skills to help with patient enquiries. Duties will include:
* Open and close the clinic.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently.
* Checking in patients, booking appointments.
* Updating records, scanning and importing medical records.
* Billing and receipting.
* Manage phone calls and other administrative duties.
* Build an excellent rapport with patients, doctors and staff.
* To exercise confidentiality with regards to patient care and all aspects of the practice.
* Liaise with other Health Professionals and Government Agencies
