Reporting to the Claims Operations Lead, the Claims and Compliance Specialist is a permanent, full time role which efficiently manages and processes claims across all sites, ensuring strict adherence to IEA DEED guidelines and driving compliance excellence. Our embarc footprint spans across NSW, ACT and VIC however the role can be based anywhere in Australia.
Key duties of this responsibility include:
- Process claims in a timely manner, including special claim requests for all sites, ensuring compliance with IEA DEED and guidelines.
- Ensure all quality and compliance checks are completed in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to: obtaining, reviewing, and submitting evidence for claims, phase moves, exits; reviewing all program summaries to ensure they are detailed and completed correctly; collating and updating all performance reports on a weekly basis.
- Track claims for all anchors for all IEA sites (including claims processed/not processed, wage subsidies, and claims for reimbursement, EAF, relocation assistance, etc).
- Support IEA staff with technical enquiries regarding claims and evidence requirements, including step-by-step instructions.
- Assist with Program Assurance audits by gathering documentary evidence and liaising with Employment Consultants to ensure compliance.
- Stay abreast of all compliance and regulatory aspects relating to IEA.
- Identify areas of risk and relay relevant information to management.
- Manage the tracking and processing of wage subsidies, including submitting them for reimbursement and adhering to all contract requirements, ensuring there is no financial risk to the business.
- Develop comprehensive training documents and checklists for all staff on claims management.
What you will bring:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Robust organisation and process-oriented skills.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Awareness and knowledge of confidentiality and privacy practices.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Disability Employment Services
- 1 year minimum experience in a claims management role (preferably in the community services sector)
