Fabritecture is a Gold Coast-based leader in design and construction, delivering iconic projects like The Rady Shell (San Diego Symphony), Christchurch Stadium, and Ken Rosewall Arena (Sydney). With flexibility to work from home you'll manage end-to-end delivery of full turnkey projects from $500K to $5M, and subcontracted packages ranging from $200K to $15M on multifaceted projects with Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders. This full-time position is primarily office-based with occasional site visits. We understand that finding the right person matters more than immediate availability, so the start date is flexible to ensure the best fit for our team.
What you'll be doing
* Deliver projects from conception to completion
* Take ownership of contract ensuring planning, procurement, logistics, and overall project delivery
* Control costs, track budgets, and prepare financial reports
* Identify and manage variations
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Manage subcontractors and on-site activities
* Ensure safety compliance on your projects, including SWMS, methodologies and site safety requirements
* Communicate with site supervisors and monitor and manage installation performance with early escalation to Head of Project Delivery where programme or costs are slipping
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
What We're Looking For
* Qualifications in engineering, construction, or project management (or equivalent experience)
* Experience in civil, commercial, structural, or mechanical construction
* Proficiency with Excel, project management tools, and safety systems
* Knowledge of safety standards, and procurement
* Strong problem-solving skills and communication skills
* A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of the full project lifecycle
* Familiarity with cladding, façades, or tensile fabric structures (desirable but not essential)
