We are seeking an Outdoor Adventure Program Equipment Specialist to ensure the safety, compliance, and excellence of our outdoor adventure program equipment and infrastructure.
In This Pivotal Role, You Will
o Oversee the maintenance, storage, and inspections of all program equipment and infrastructure, including giant swings, high ropes courses, climbing towers, pedal karts and more.
o Coordinate periodic inspections and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs.
o Engage and coordinate with third-party experts for annual inspections and compliance.
o Manage supplier relationships and ensure expenditure remains within allocated budgets.
o Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in program equipment and infrastructure.
What You Bring
o Demonstrated understanding of specifications, functions, and proper usage of outdoor activity equipment.
o Experience conducting and responding to outcomes of outdoor infrastructure inspections.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Organized and structured with outstanding attention to detail.
o Practical approach to addressing and resolving issues including some DIY fixes
o Comfortable working at heights.
o Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership or equivalent.
o Willingness to work within a Christian context and align with Fresh Hope Communities' mission and values.
o Current Working with Children Check.
