About the role
In a dynamic, customer-facing work environment, you will collaborate within the Commercial team ensuring contract assurance and provide key support in promoting commercial best practices. In a common-goal oriented approach, you will enhance, educate and provide contract leadership ensuring expectations measured via KPIs for all stakeholders are met. Your involvement
- With the support of the Commercial Manager, manage Contract Obligations;
- Manage complex, performance based Contract and Subcontracts;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in contract flow downs;
- Collaborate with the customer within day to day Contract adherence and opportunities;
- Engage with internal Managers to develop a strong Supply Chain;
- Engage with internal Managers towards Australian Industry Capability and Continuous Improvement;
- With the support of the Commercial Manager, develop Contract Change Proposals;
- Previous experience with Costs Controls, Contract Work Breakdown Structure and CAM advantages;
- Scheduling experience advantages; and
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly Contract Deliverables & reports.
About you
You will have at least 3-5 years of Contract Management, Supply Chain Management in either the Australian Defence Force, Commercial or In-Service Support Contract Support experience.
Grounded by a thorough understanding of Contract Law, you are respected as a communicator who can explain and interpret a clause overview and or intent. We are seeking a “can do” attitude, able to led by adhering to baseline and seeking for solutions.
- Bachelor degree in either Law/Commerce/Business/Finance/ Supply Chain Management.
- 3-5 years\' experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving technique;
- Experienced in complex maintenance management systems;
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
- High level of analytical and reporting skills;
- Excellent written, data analysis and presentation skills;
- High level of stakeholder management skills;
- Proven ability to work independently and demonstrate positive organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills;
- Ability to plan, organise and delegate effectively.
