Job Title: Experienced Cost Manager
We are seeking an experienced cost manager to work with our construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the construction management team to deliver high-quality cost management services.
* Conduct thorough cost planning services during all design stages of projects.
* Manage and process progress claims and variation assessments efficiently.
* Communicate effectively with external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
* Assist in commissioning management of projects to support successful outcomes.
* Review commercial documentation and provide recommendations on value for money and industry standards.
* Collaborate with the full cost management and project management teams in Western Australia.
Requirements:
* Minimum requirement is a degree in a relevant field, such as construction.
* A chartered status with a recognized body, such as AIQS or RICS, is desirable.
* 5+ years of experience in cost management or estimating, preferably in a private practice or construction organization.
* Business development experience, particularly in identifying opportunities with existing clients.
