As an Operations Compliance Partner, you'll help ensure consistent execution and high standards across our restaurant network. Working with our third-party audit partner, you'll support compliance audits, use insights to identify improvements, and collaborate with teams to drive solutions and track performance.
Please note, this is a 12-month parental leave cover.
ABOUT YOU – OUR NEXT ORIGINAL
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years' operations experience in the commercial sector
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights (Excel, PowerPoint)
* Strong technical knowledge and experience in audit provision
* Proven experience managing a team
* Exceptional influencing and communication skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
* Good understanding of food service/fast food retail environment
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR OPERATIONS COMPLIANCE PARTNER
Compliance & Monitoring
* Oversee third-party vendor delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements (e.g. audit frequency and coverage)
* Track and report on compliance metrics, identifying trends, risks and performance gaps
* Ensure a consistent and timely audit appeals process is in place and followed
* Maintain alignment of the SOPAC restaurant compliance audit program (ROCC) process with YUM and global standards
* Ensure underperformance processes are followed, including formal notices, invoicing (where applicable), training and close-out
* Maintain effective processes to cascade updates to the vendor (e.g. procedures and legislation)
Process Improvement & Operational Support
* Maintain and update the ROCC tool to reflect changes in SOPAC procedures, YUM! Brands requirements and legislation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner with Operations, People & Culture, Quality Assurance, Legal and Training teams to align compliance initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements
* Provide insights and recommendations to drive long-term improvement, including preparing supporting data and materials as needed
* Lead ROCC communications across SOPAC (e.g. leadership team decks, weekly comms and internal resources), continuously improving content relevance and effectiveness
Compliance Leadership
* Facilitate feedback loops with the third-party provider to identify opportunities to improve KFC operations
* Influence above-restaurant stakeholders and support both equity and franchise teams to build capability and maintain consistent compliance standards
* Lead initiatives to simplify operations and improve compliance outcomes
* Support additional projects and responsibilities as required by the Restaurant Excellence and Compliance Manager
