Senior Data & AI Engineer (Baseline Security Clearance Required)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: Canberra (Onsite)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data & AI Engineer for an upcoming project for one of the government organisations for a long-term contract.
Required Skills
* 5 plus years of experience designing and managing relational and non-relational databases (specifically Azure SQL & Cosmos).
* 3 plus years of hands‐on experience working with the Azure Modern Data Warehouse
* Azure Data Engineer and/or Fabric Data Engineer certification and Azure Database Administrator certification are highly desirable.
* Experience in Python, SQL, DAX, KQL, JSON, .NET, and ETL pipeline development.
* Hands‐on experience in deploying AI/ML models and integrating them into cloud environments.
* Strong experience in creating and managing Power BI reports and dashboards.
* Proven ability to lead projects, mentor teams, and provide guidance on data governance and data management best practices.
* Experience with big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop is a plus.
* Proficiency in configuring and utilizing cloud monitoring and logging tools to address operational incidents, and experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines.
* Experience with Agile delivery methodologies to ensure continuous improvement and project success.
Security Clearance
* Candidates must have Baseline Security Clearance.
