Overview
We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive a culture of performance, ownership, and continuous improvement across the technical sales team. This role is critical in strengthening customer relationships, driving strategic growth, and elevating the business within the market. The role is fully remote with travel domestically up to 50% of the year.

Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team of technical sales professionals.
* Retain existing customers through value-based, long-term relationship building.
* Grow existing accounts through channel-first strategies aligned to commercial priorities.
* Gain new customers and secure additional market share in line with the growth roadmap.
Talent Development & Performance Management
* Proactively manage individual and team performance in line with organisational objectives.
* Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
* Build an environment that encourages feedback and empowerment that supports capability building.
Strategic Growth & Market Value Proposition
* Continuously enhance and communicate the value proposition by leveraging company capabilities, insights, and resources.
* Develop and execute robust account plans detailing customer strategies, requirements, sales forecasts, satisfaction metrics, and continuous improvement actions.
Customer & Industry Engagement
* Build deep customer intimacy with key accounts, ensuring strong relationships across all critical stakeholders.
* Act as a trusted partner to customers, understanding their needs, challenges, and buying motives.
Commercial Leadership
* Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen to unlock new growth opportunities.
* Lead strategic initiatives that elevate organisational performance and drive incremental improvements.
Profile
The successful Sales Manager should have:
* Proven experience in sales leadership ideally within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. You will have led medium size teams with the ability to drive accountability while leading with empathy.
* A strong track record in not only managing existing revenue pipelines but also building repeatable systems that deliver growth
* You will have a coaching mindset and be someone who thrives on developing teams and driving improvement
* You will be a data driven leader who can effectively use various sales analytics to influence key decisions

* Competitive salary package ranging from AUD 165000 to AUD 180000 plus super, vehicle/allowance and bonus
