- 2-year fixed term contract with Network Aviation based at Perth Airport
As the Manager Cabin Operations, you will be responsible for leading the strategic and operational delivery of fleet transition, including the introduction of the E190 aircraft into the Qantas Group. You’ll oversee Cabin Crew resourcing, recruitment, and support services to ensure readiness for new port implementations and enhanced customer experience. This role plays a key part in shaping and executing the industrial strategy, managing day-to-day industrial matters, and driving operational performance across safety, WHS, cost efficiency, and On-Time Performance. You’ll build strong partnerships across Workforce Planning, Safety, Flight Operations, and other key teams to ensure seamless execution of operational projects and fleet conversion.
You’ll have:
- Strong understanding of the Cabin Crew role and its operational impact
- Proven experience in airline operations, ideally within planning and/or operational leadership roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex issues and drive data-informed decisions
- Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills, with the ability to explain strategic decisions clearly
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of industrial relations practices and experience navigating industrial landscapes
- A track record of achieving operational KPIs, including safety, efficiency, and performance metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the business effectively
